The forest.
Every König floor begins in the managed forests of Central Europe. We source our wood only from FSC-certified forests that are actively replanted, monitored and preserved for future generations. No old-growth timber, no compromises.
The air indoors.
Our coatings are water-based and free of solvents. The adhesive systems are free of formaldehyde and other volatile organic compounds, which earns them the EMICODE EC1 PLUS rating, the strictest independent emissions standard in the industry.
The plant.
Our plant in Bavaria runs a zero-waste policy: production offcuts are reused, not thrown away. Packaging is made from recycled and recyclable materials.
